iPhone 11 Could Be Discontinued After iPhone 14 Launch in September

The iPhone 11, which was released in 2019, maybe phased out soon. According to recent speculations, Apple may halt the manufacture of the iPhone 11 following the release of the iPhone 14, which is expected in September of this year. So far, however, there has been no confirmation of the date of cessation. The iPhone 11 will be available in India till supplies run out or as reconditioned handsets. Officially, the iPhone 11 pricing range in India begins at Rs 49,900, which may reduce in the coming days.

Apple has been contemplating the discontinuation internally. This may disappoint some, as the iPhone 11 is one of the most popular phones, as well as the best-selling smartphone in 2020. The iPhone 11 is manufactured and assembled in India at Foxconn's factory near Chennai.

iPhone 11 discontinuation: Possible reasons
Since its release in 2019, the iPhone 11 has been one of Apple's best-selling smartphones. This, however, has a negative impact on the selling of the iPhone SE (2022), which debuted in 2022. Because the iPhone 11 has a larger display and Face ID recognition, it is outselling the iPhone SE (2022), which is very identical to the iPhone SE (2020). In addition, the iPhone 11 has a second back camera.
Users will, however, be able to purchase the iPhone 11 in India until stocks run out or if they choose a refurbished unit. It has a 6.1-inch Liquid Retina IPS LCD and a 12MP dual rear camera system. While the 64GB storage variant may be purchased in a retail store for Rs 49,900.

iPhone 14 launch in September
While Apple has not confirmed the iPhone 11's discontinuation, the smartphone is expected to be phased out with the release of the iPhone 14 series. It will most likely feature four smartphones: the iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Max, iPhone 14 Pro, and iPhone 14 Pro Max.
The iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro may have a 6.1-inch screen. The iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone Pro Max, on the other hand, have a 6.7-inch display. The new versions are said to be powered by Qualcomm's A16 Bionic chipset and would feature 5G connectivity.
