Hyundai Ioniq 5 electric car with 460 km range seen running on roads in India

South Korea's leading automaker Hyundai recently showcased the Ioniq 5 electric car while inaugurating its new headquarters in Gurugram. Since then it was being speculated that this electric car could be launched in the Indian market soon. Now, this electric car has been seen plying on the roads of Chennai. The car was being driven without camouflage. However, information about the launch of the Ioniq in India has not yet been given by Hyundai. TeamBHP has shared some live pictures of the Hyundai Ioniq 5 electric car. According to the report, this car was being driven on the roads of Chennai. The car was not concealed in some sort of camouflage. As we mentioned, speculations are being made for the launch of this electric car in India for some time now. Hyundai also recently showcased this car at the inauguration of its new headquarters in Gurugram. Even after all this, the company has not yet revealed the plans to launch this electric car in India

Currently, Hyundai sells its only electric SUV in India through the Kona.

The Ioniq 5 is the company's most premium car in the lineup of electric cars. Not only does it look modern and beautiful, but its power will not make you feel that it is an electric car. The company has given a battery pack of 77.4kWh capacity in this car, about which the company claims that it can get a range of up to 460 km in a single charge. Another feature of this is its charging capability. The company claims that this car can be charged from 10 to 80 percent in just 18 minutes and just 5 minutes of charging can run this electric car for 100 kilometers. These are certainly impressive figures.

Not only the range, but its power also affects it. The Hyundai Ioniq 5 crossover gets two trims. The single motor trim generates 225 hp and 258 lb-ft of max torque and the company claims this helps the car to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 7.4 seconds. There is also an all-wheel-drive trim, which comes with a dual-motor setup. This trim produces 302 hp and 446 lb-ft of output and can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 5.2 seconds. Its top trim will have a top speed of 185 km/h.
Talking about other attractive features of the car, it gets a 12-inch touchscreen system and the gear selector is given behind the steering wheel. In this crossover model, the company has given pop-up door handles, a huge black roof, and beautiful 20-inch alloy wheels.
